Water skiing started in Greece at the end of the 50s in the waters of Vouliagmeni. In literally primitive conditions, with outboard boats that had engines of just ...15 hp and improvised skis, waders and slalom tracks, the first athletes started while the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club literally embraced this new activity.
